Cycling Criterium
The Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center has nine-tenths of a mile criterium course used by cyclists and triathletes for speed work. The loop opens onto county roadways adjacent to the training center for scenic and demanding longer distance road cycling. Distance runners can take advantage of the enclosed and safe path throughout the campus for longer training runs.
Tennis Courts
Two hard-surface courts for tennis provide opportunities for tennis training and recreation. The tennis site includes a coaching observation tower. Boathouse & Lake
A 13,000 square foot boathouse sits on the Lower Otay Lake reservoir with a private boat dock. The boathouse features two bays for canoe, kayak and rowing boat storage as well as men’s and women’s locker rooms. Five natural grass fields are kept in top condition to serve as the main training ground for the Men’s & Women’s USA Rugby Sevens National Teams.
